Gasoline Smell

I have a 2010 Street Glide and when I come home after a long ride and park my bike in the garage I smell gasoline for about an hour. Sometimes worst than others... Anyone have any ideas as to why?

i've noticed the same thing with this bike. so much so that i leave the garage open until it cools down.

honestly though, have noticed the same thing with my other HD bikes from time to time.

I wonder if the tank gets hot an gasoline vapors seep out?

My 09 FLHX does the same - normal...just venting. As long as you're not seeing raw gas leaking from somewhere - you're good.

had the same thing on my o8 ultra seems when parked after a ride the gas would drip out of the line on the left side by the bottom of the rear primary never did figure why sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't
