Man, since I have put my Sundowner on my RG (2 up, 1 piece seat) I sure feel the heat of the bike through the seat more! [sm=confused06.gif] It's right on my but! Any of you guys notice it!?!?!?!? It's not anything I can't stand, but it's like the seat is warmed up. Will be nice for cold weather riding I guess.

Get a piece of that silver bubbly looking heat insulation (sorry, dont know the name of that stuff) from your local hardware store and fix it to the bottom of the seat, it will keep you a$$ cool.

I did the same thing...really works....I laid it over the battery box, frame and part of rear fender....I put a piece of inner tube over the battery terminals just in case the aluminum looking stuff conducts electricity
Btw, the Sundowner is the last seat I will buy for my '06 Ultra.....fits my 5'10"...180# body perfectly....I rode 2500 miles in the last 5 days without the slightest bit of discomfort.....that wasn't the case with the last 3 seats I tried in the last 2 months.....stock....Corbin Dual Tour and C & C Sport Tour
Thanks for the info, guys. Hell, I gots me sum of the chrome looking bubbly insulation stuffs onz da shelv in the garage! Used it in my hot rod under the carpet and over the tranny tunnel.

I've had my Sundowner one piece seat on my Road Glide for a couple of weeks now .. no heat issue with mine. Both the wife and I love the seat. Now I must admit that it doesn't look "cool" as the HD Exotic Leather seat (in my signature pic below) but it's definetly installed on the RG when we go on "out of town" trips.

YA!! thats the stuff, same here. used it on my 28 tudor sedan
What didn't you like about the C&C Sport Tour? Just put a Sundowner on my SG and at 6'3", I felt like it pushed me too close to the tank and I seem to prefer a flatter seat over one with a deep bucket. Had my hopes up that the C&C might be what I was after.
