Default SERT Help.

Hi all,

Well on my way to LV Bikefest I overheated in Phoenix and my bike kept shutting down. It also happened in LV.
So my question is: Does anyone have a custom map that meets my bike's specs in my sig? If so would you be willing to email it to me. I know I'm running to lean A/F Ratio is 13.2 I would like 13.6 - 13.8 I don't want to pay for a dyno until I upgrade my cams i see no since in paying twice.

Thanks to all whether you able to help or not.

Jeff

BTW. I had a great time in Vega$ My wife is already planning to go next year.

You may want to do a search is this website, as some of the folks have done the remapping themselves. If you have a laptop computer and a USB port, you should be able to do it yourself. The software (from what I heard) is pretty simple to use. But, I'll let others who have actually done this provide their input.

I dont think you are running lean at 13.2
The lower the Air Ratio which is the higher number the richer you are.
13 part air, 2 parts fuel
The lower you take that number the richer you get, the higher you take the number 14.2 for example, the leaer you get.

At least that is my understanding

I agree, the Tech section would get you allot of advice on this subject, I did my won this past weekend and dont have any issues

I up my sig to show what I'm running right now.

I have tried the 141NS002 MAP and it ran like a DOG.
As I stated I hoped someone has dynoed and had a custom map.

I would try myself but I'm not that good at carb/efi type stuff. I know my limitations.

Thanks to all

You need a program with truduals, I forgot what bike comes with them from HD, but there is a download for 88ci with factory truduals on one of the bikes, that is where my dyno guy got his start when he tuned mine with the SERT and it sounded pretty good just with that compared to the Rk downloads
