I really like my stage 1 2011 RGU 103 but my 04 mild 95" electraglide would leave it for dead in a top gear roll on even if I was shifting down on my new one. Still the new one rides and handles much better.
I just picked up my 2011 Road King Classic today (traded my 2005 Heritage Classic 88B in)... I have 167 miles on it now and even though I am in "break in mod" I can tell I made the right decision !! I am looking forward to a Stage One and some pipes (can anyone recommend pipes or slip-ons?)
If you like it with a good stage I, you'd love it with a decent set of cams.
Understatement of the year. A cam will wake that motor up big time.
There are a few ponies left on the table with that set up. Nice cruising torque though.
I sorta skipped the EVO -88-96 Era rode my shovel till i got old enough to want a bagger and bought a 11 SG that handles like a dream.
The engine is a lil bit of a downer......2000 miles of cooking my privates and my right leg has gotten a lil old and it just seems lacking somewhere on the power ....hopefully the suggestion of some of the folks ive met thru here will get this thing to get out of its own way,the potential is there
