For some of you that have nice garages for storing your Scoots probably already know this but for those that don't, if you do not have the floor sealed it is a good idea to put cardboard or a rubber mat under your bike to prevent moisture from coming up through the floor and corroding or rusting your chrome or aluminum parts.

Synthetic oil is supposed to be more pure initially but I don't know how it does as far as attracting or isolating contaminates. You asked a good question here...might try posting it over in the 'Oil' portion of the site.
