After thinking about it all the stuff is probabley painted seperate and would cost them to pull items out and keep track of them.

you will be sorry if you want a classic, you save a little with a standard but you lose a lot more than the pin stripes , tourpak w/ passenger backrest and extra lighting,stereo w/cd and weather stations, black and chrome engine, extra gauges, and more

Mack is so right and I don't get it. If you want a bike without stripes you should be able to pay a reasonable fee to have a change made. Just like paint options. If I wanted a Black Denim Ultra why couldn't they just paint a tourpak in that color since they already have all the other parts to fit it. I could just pay a non-refundable upgrade charge and get the color I want.
