Default 36" - 37" wide bars???

ok..like SO many of us i wanna change my bars.. I am looking into all kinds of things (WIld 1, Yaffe, Santee) a wanna go with a low Ape ( i know kind of an Oxymoron).. I''m on the shorter side and i don't want my hands over the fairing.... ALot of the "apes" i've looked at are running 36" -37" wide .. i believe that i about 4" + wider then stock.... do you hands stick out the side of the fairing? anyone have probelms with getting alot of wind on your hands??

while i'm at it..anyone know any other bars that they could suggest

p.s. ever wish you could just design your own bars.... "Hey Wild 1.. i want a bar like the 577 style but 2" lower and 2" more narrow so my hands are behind the fairing... in that nice black finish you have"....would be nice wouldn't it???

Thanks boys..be well.. ride safe

Mine are 42" wide, probably wider than most of the bars out there. My hands do stick out past the fairing, but I don't notice the wind.

Go to Khrome Werks page and look at their 1 1/4 apes. Nice bars for a decent price.

Wide & comfortable. The truck's not mine, just a pic I pulled off Google. Wish the truck I drive looked like that, lol.

thanks for the suggestion..... I'm liking that 12" APE #300315....shows the end rise at actually 10"...would probably keep my hands behind the fairing...and only 34.9 wide...nise

think Khrome Werks makes bars in anything other then Khrome? i was looking for black.....

Mine are wide and high. Remember, it a motorcycle. Your suppose to have wind in your face and on your hands. Thats two of the reasons why we ride.
