Smile One more cam question.

Ok so i have been reading all the cam post and projects on here and sure am getting excited about doin mine , all the post were awesome. What i want to know is what is the best cam setup for me... I have a 2006 flhr carbed... And its black lol if that helps... Thanks in advance for ur help guys.

Andrews 26's are a great bagger cam in the 88.

What kind of riding you do? 2 up? you want tq? midrange? hp? You plan on going with a bigger engine later?

I ride mostly 2 up . I want low to mid range. And no i dont plan on ever going to a bigger motor.. I think i would keep the king and buy another bike... arealinvestor I ALSO LIVE IN JERSEY ABOUT 8 MILES FROM A.C.

Andrews 21 or 26. I think I'd go with the 21 but either one would work for you.

The 88s are geared slightly tall because Americans like lower rpms and it produces lower noise numbers for the EPA.

One thing you might consider before changing the cam is just changing your primary gearing.
Putting yourself in the correct power band with the stock cam will really improve the feel.
You swap out to a 24 tooth compensating sprocket and 37 tooth clutch basket to get a final drive ratio of 3.37 from your current 3.15. It can be done in a couple of hours and costs less than a cam change.

Not sure how many miles on your bike but I'd replace the spring tensioners with the new hydraulic setup while I'm in there.
