I just ordered that EXACT one from Amazon. Thanks guys.
I got the diy kit, and a handle bar switch and a 2 channel remote. Go big or go home right? Lol
Im have short legs. And I'm really looking forward to this air ride. I have it lowered 2" and still not flat footed, close but not as close as I'd like. Sucks ***. I would have lowered it further to 3", but the shocks hit the saddlebags. Ugh
I have a 2013 SG, with a new rear tire, it's the newer HD Dunlop, The rear tire is stock size, but I hear it's the newer HD Dunlop that is like double belted or something???
I'm curious if anyone else has a lowering kit plus air ride and is not rubbing the tire? I know there are some differences between bikes and tires, just curious if a few people have gotten away with it? I would only go like 1" and then air ride. I will not lower it further if it will hit or rub anything, I need to be able to ride in the event of air system failure. I'm also aware that if I do they're lowering kit plus air ride care, that I could have a belt tension or swingarm clearance issues that I have to watch out for.
I know now it's an easy swap to put on/take off the lowering brackets. Everything is on order, just anxious to see if I get away with the lowering kit an air ride before it gets here. Lol
Side note. Good lord, I love my Harley SG. I just got it a month ago, had a v Star 1100 before hand, great bike, never let me down, and It did fit me better, but it's no comparison to the Harley. I'm in love.
