Chrome lowers advise

I am getting ready to install chrome lowers on my FHLX. I need advice on what everyone is using to install the seals. I know they sell a tool for that (very expensive). I know others have made their own out of PVC. Can anyone tell me what size of PVC to use to make a seal driver? Any tips would be appreciated

Get a piece of pvc pipe, if it's not a perfect fit, cut it lengthwise and slide it over the fork leg and your good. I can't remember, but it's 1-1/2 or 2" I believe

Glad to see someone posted my pic, because it works. Here are some more of my SG leg change. I also like to completely remove the tubes from the triple trees, finding that works the best for me. Make sure you put your seals in the correct orientation (look at your stock seals before you remove them). Good luck
