Looking for some more advice on a 2010 scarlet red road glide with abs, security, cruise, detachable hardware for $22800 otd. including tax, license, fees. I live in california so there is that $200 emissions fee.
What are your thoughts on the price of this bike?
Thanks for your input
There selling fully loaded 2010's up here for 21000.00 with agitator wheels, 500.00 gift certificate, and free tires for life! So...... Are you getting a good deal? I know a guy who bought a 2010 for 18100.00 had em yank the motor and put in the 120r total cost 23400.00 plus he sold the 96 inch motor for 3200.00! So.... Are you getting a good deal?
Figure out msrp, add all the accessories and take off minimum $1000, whether it's in parts service or whatever. That should be minimum discount on a 10. And it ALWAYS depends on the time of year and where you live! Should be a great time to get a deal.
I don't know how much of that is tax, license, and fees, but MSRP on everything you've listed is $21,569 not including the detachable hardware. That leaves $1231 for tax, license, fees, and detachable hardware. It sounds like you are getting a small discount for it being a 2010. Around here, when they still had 2010s left over, they were discounting them by $1000-$2000. You're getting nowhere near that big a discount.
