I had to bed them a little to clear the speakers but not a problem on my '08. Yep they are near the top of the passengers legs, but so are the passengers hands.

If I remember correctly the parts catalog indicates they don't fit after '06. They due fit on the '07 and clear the speakers (1/4") IF the tour pak is in the rearward position. Can't move the tour pak to the forward position. Don't know why you would want to move the tour pak forward but that wasn't the question.

They are great for strapping down a bag in the passenger area.

No problem for the bike, but my wife hates 'em - they keep banging her in the back of the leg when she mounts and dismounts the bike. They are removed when riding 2-up, they'll be reinstalled to mount a 3 gallon auxilliary fuel cell on the pillion (for my Alaska trip).

I have them on my '0-10 and had them in the past on earlier models; wife loves them. Mine fit perfect, though I know there is more than one part number depending on fitment.

My '08 Ultra came with a cheap seat strap. Why did Harley remove the chrome rail? They could have modified it to fit the newer bikes.

Had them as standard equipment on my '02 and '03. Took delivery on my '06 and didn't even notice they were not there until my son got on and asked where's my handles?

Salesperson handed my son a P&A catalog and told him 'tell your dad there in here'...

My OL was on me to get her some. She hated the strap. I bought some to fit my bike and they installed perfectly and she is a happy camper.
