Default Louder exhaust question

Ok you guys,I've read tons of posts in here about true duals, baffles, drilling baffles out, removing baffles,etc.etc.etc. I have a 98 Road King Classic with Vance n Hines fishtails.I know what i want/need...true duals and a tuner, problem is,I just cant afford to do both right now and it requires both. After reading some guy's post tonite, got me thinking about something.Tell me if this is crazy/wrong/stupid or whatever. There is very little exhaust that exits out the left muffler, what if I removed the baffle in the left muffler?

You would be better off to plug the crossover to the right side in the Y pipe. (poor man's true dual).

you will lose some bottom end torque with the true duals without a doubt. the exhaust will also be louder.

Try and plugging the crossover sounds like your first option.

Just remove the exhuast all together, that should do the trick!

about 80% of the exhaust goes out the right side, with stock head pipes. If you block off the left side muffer, you will keep the sound but performance should increase (fake 2 into 1). A lot of people with Rush would put a 1.75" baffle in the left and 2.25" on the right. By using a smaller baffle it almost completly forced all exhuast out the right side and caused drastic performance increases due to the added back pressure. I would assume removing the left baffle will have opposite effects. It might balance the sound but torque will go down as well.

Default plug crossover

pluging crossover works there is no loss of low end torque due to u are still have stock dia. header pipes 1 5/8". so u need 1 5/8 " frost plug, tig weld in on angle for flow. u now have a better sound and duals. only thing for bikes after 2006 one must move o2 senor from crossover to left exhaust pipe same distance as was on crossover from head.

Thanks guys....I've read about plugging the crossover and the Fullsac kit. Guess I'll do a little more reading. Unless......any of you wanna throw about $700 bucs my way!
Although Fullsac says no efi remapping required. Maybe someone can set me straight on that subject??
