I frequent this site FAR more than any other. I am addicted to this forum. I hope they make me pay to stay on here. I could become unaddicted that way and have 2 or 3 hours a day to ride and do things I need to be doing.

I'm curious to know the outlandish fee that will come with being a member.
I'm also appalled that the MANY members on here that freely "contributed" their money back in those days are basically being told "thanks..but you get nothing"...unless those that are setting the fee's will be giving the contributing members a credit for their donation.

Sounds like some will become more equal than others.
and...........if you thank someone with the expectation that you must get something back, it lacks any sincerity.

The main reason I come here as opposed to V-Twin Forum, is because they don't charge anything.
V-Twin Forum charges to be able to post and view pics.
if that happens here... I'l do the same thing I did at V-Twin Forums... I'll find a new forum to visit.
and HD Forums will also be sending me this email every month:

I'm rather new here, but I like it the way it is. Just as soon as money gets into to anything the fun is gone and the reason everybody enjoys it. The glue that holds a thing together is the thing we all have in common. cable tv was not to have commercials because you pay for it. How long did that last. Money Imo will ruin things.

HDFORUMZ anyone? I see the same crap happening here that happened in the other sites I visited (Car and MC)? I think we need to look at who is the money (Big Admin) behind this site. I noticed that the membership has over doubled in the last 2 - 3 years, I suspect it is because the other sites did what this site is about to do. Sad, its just sad that someone, I dont know the money behind it yet but will reasearch the happenings has come up with a business plan that will destroy the site. I am thinking a MBA wizard (young *****) from Dartmouth or Havad.

It's the way of the world. Why give away for free that for which someone will pay. Admin realizes that they have a good thing going and they want to cash in. Perfectly natural I suppose. I have enjoyed the site pretty well. I'm not sure if I'd pay or not. I do pay over at the other site though.
