I want to install the progressive mono tube cartridge suspension in my 02 Classic but don't want to lower the front. I have heard the standard kit still drops the front a little. Does the standard height kit lower at all or is it the same hiight as stock?

Thanks,

It did lower my 2010 flhx about 1/2 an inch. I dont recommend these. Try the ricor intimator valves they actually work as advertised.
I ran the Progressives 940 shocks and monotube cartridges on my 01 Classic and was very happy with them, the cartridge kit will lower it 1/2" or not at all depending on how you install it, I have Ricor shocks and the Intiminator ordered for my new bike but they haven't arrived yet so I cannot comment on them yet
It was installed to ride at the stock height but sat 1/2 inch low. I dont know if i had a bad set but The springs that were in the kit didnt have the same free height with no load on them. The suspension bottomed out during heavy braking. I was not impressed and progressive gave me the run around when I shiped them back for(2 weeks) dyno testing. These things may work great for someone who wants a plush ride but If your a agressive rider stay away.
