I think the problem maybe we used two different phones to record the two different pipes so the quality of the recording maybe different.
We willl try to get togather this weekend and use the same phone with the bikes side by side that may give a better way to compare any differences .

Thanks guys, I checked it out on ebay.

Amazing that it can have such volume with only 1.75" baffles.

On that note, volume wise, what would you say they compare to? Rineharts maybe?

Also, what is your opinion on the quality of them? On some of the pics on the ebay ad, I thought I noticed a bit of rust/discoloration on the inside of the tips.

Default Quality of knockoffs

I looked at the CFRs very close and they are well made- theres a weld that runs full length of the pipe unseen becasuse its on the bottom on the CFRs the knock offs dont have that ,it seems they put a sheet of steel over the weld you can feel theres a weld under the steel but you dont see or feel it. its a little bit oval on the bottom of pipe where unseen . Everything else is the same a dead ringer But for $400 less no CFR stamp which i will live with But time will tell I would buy another set any day . I have a buddy who just bought new pipes from fuelmoto he is taking them off and getting a set of these .

Rineharts are great sounding pipes i really liked them ... But i love CFRs I love these knock offs they are LOW LOW LOW but when you rap them its pure Harley sound !!!! I sold the Rineharts for 300 and bought knock offs for 220. Im Smiling so far

Thanks blues...ya, I was all set on the 4" Rinehart slip ons, but I'm not sure if they will give me much more sound (volume and quality) than the fullsac 2.25" cores I have now. I am also considering the new Jackpot 4" cans, once they come out with the performance baffle for them. Now, maybe I should consider these CFR knock offs- less $$ to lose if I don't like them, as compared to spending $500 on the Rineys to find they sound the same as what I have on now.

Any idea how these knock offs are performance wise?

Also, how do they sound after a day of riding, if anyone has had them long enough to find out?

1 3'4" FRONT baffle, the rear is damn near 3". It increases as the body size does. The pipe body is 4" at the tip. They are big back there and look great.

They are not "no baffle" loud but they are loud. I took my baffkes out f my 3.5" rinehart's and they where too loud. I put 1 baffle back in and it was bearable. The CFR's are that amount of loud without the rasp and high-pitched tone. The reverb is the winner. each shift is joy to the ear with these big pipes.

They do stink for awhile at 1st while the packing breaks in. Almost a coolant type smell. That could be my rtv sealant though. I did a fullsac true dual at the same time and sealed ll the joints.
