I was lucky to ride for a few hrs this Sunday . Alls i can say is WOW !!!!!
I put muy power commander on , Headed out on a ride I was smiling All day Besides the bump in horse power which was very noticeable my bike ran so Awesome pleanty of torque ,I loved how it sounded and ran on the freeway .... I got some compliments on how good my bike sounded and looked with the pipes . Im telling you... this is the sound i was looking for and I am happy !!!! Now someone mentioned that he noticed on the ebay listing for the pipes that he thought he noticed rust in the end caps i looked at my buddys CFR originals , and his right cap is very tarnished. I have been taking the chrome polish to mine after riding , i think they will be fine . If you take the plunge and get these pipes you wont be dissapointed !!! A shout out to my buddy Bill Who turned me on to these pipes They rock !!
Bluesheart,is it possible for you to post a soundfile with better quality than the previous posted ones, and can you provide some detailed photos of the pipes? I am jus about to buy a set of these and want to make sure...Also, how do they perform torque-wise ? thanks from austria...
Alls i can say is i have torque i have never had .I cant give exact specs but my bike moves and I am thrilled with its performance.
As far as detailed pictures i can take some this weekend I have tried to take better recordings short of borrowing a stereo mp3 recorder i dont know what else i can do my buddy used his iphone for one of those and i used an HTC Evo but i will see what i can do to get a better recording .
From all that has beensaid on here it sounds as if the Knock-Offs are a WINNER ? Well expect the price to go up a little higher , but it sounds like a deal up to $350 ?
Well in response to your question i always liked my bike . I love it now it scoots . I dont feel like im lopeing along . I am haulin *** and sounding and feeling like i have something really special . If i were rich ... i would say dude... trust me on this if you buy those pipes ill give your $$ back if you dont like them , but for around $220 how can you lose? i was looking at freekin foot rest chrome for passenger $175.00. so for 50.00 more the rumble of these bad boys will add so much more than chrome foot rests to your bike . you do and will get noticed . Im just sayin !!!

Sorry, I lost track- what slip ons did you have before?
And, no other changes other than the CFR fakees and a map change?
(we gotta come up with a nickname for these pipes- Cee fakers, or something )
I had rinehart pipes and they were cool but not deep sounding enough for mylikeing
I had my stage1 k&n added my power commander and C_FUk_R pipes and I'm set . I wish I had 800.00 for the real deal which at first I thought these might be seconds because they were identical to the CFR pipes I've seen . My buddy I ride with calls them kmart pipes but knowing him he would of spent 220.00 like I did rather than 6 to 8 hundred on pipes .
