Cool Help - Neutral Switch Removal

Hi,
This may be the wrong forum - if so - sorry......
I need to remove my neutral switch on top of the gear box.
On my 2005 Ultra Classic.
Need help / advice, can't get a socket on the switch, starter motor in the way, can't get a spanner in to it because of the position, looks like I will need to remove the top access cover with the switch still in place and then remove switch once the cover is on the bench.

Unless any one has any other good idea's??

Please let me know.

Mark.

just use an open end wrench. It is not really tight and you can hold the wrench at an angle to get it loose. That is how I did mine on my 04 which is the same as your 05.

My dealer replaced mine also with an open end wrench. Took him all of 5 minutes to remove and replace.
