I don't know if I would do it. The new frame is nice, but I don't think it's that great. You have got 2 sick bikes. The best of both worlds. Are you sure you want to give that up for one touring bike?
After reading all the comments and talkin with the "Mrs.", Im gonna keep everything and start workin on the roadglide
I was tryin to avoid the enevitable of modifying it....
so looks like the winter project of "jockeyshift" the deluxe has been delayed and i will start to modify the roadglide
1st up looks like to paint the inner fairing.
long term will be gear drive
180 or 200 rear kit....possibly extended bags and rear fender
and possibly an 18" front rim....
Painting the inner fairing mirage orange looks like "orange overkill" so im thinkin of black storeage, black speedo/tac area, and possibly black gauge and radio holes...
