during winter when it's too cold to go out riding, i keep the battery tender plugged in, and the fuel stabilizer. it sure is nice to not worry whether it'll start when a nice day comes up.
Whats the difference between the battery tender and Harley Davidson Charger?
Had a Harley charger lasted two years my brothers same thing. I bought the battery tender plus comes with a ten year warranty. Ive only been using it for a coulple months no problems great little unit.
Whats the difference between the battery tender and Harley Davidson Charger?
The "Battery Tender Plus" and "Battery Tender Jr" come from a company named DELTRAN. They used to make the Harley version but don't anymore. Harley switched to another manufacturer. There are other companies that make good battery maintainers. Yuasa makes one. I prefer a "BatteryMinder Plus" myself because it has a sulfation mode which some of the others don't.
Don't confuse a battery maintainer with a charger or even a trickle charger. They are not always the same thing.
Battery Tender Jr.
