We have a customer well, I really think of Andy of more of a friend than a customer now, I met him 5 years ago when he rode up to the shop from Atlanta for me to work on his motorcycle seat. He has been riding forever and has some of the wildest motorcycle stories I have ever heard. Last year he rode up to Alaska and this year he made his usual trip to the shop to have his new motorcycle seat worked on(Traitor, it's a BMW)but he said after riding on the dirt roads in Alaska he wanted a bike better suited for those conditions. I stumbled across this story this morning and while I love hearing Andy's tales reading this one with pictures is awesome and best of all its on a 2008 Road King. Enjoy the read http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=603979
Love the advrider forum, it has some pretty cool stories and great pictures. Everytime I spend much time on there it makes me want to go out and get another adventure bike.

I agree, I just wish I could figure out how those guys get the time away from work to do stuff like that. Right now I don't care much about riding in Mexico or SA but would love to get out and see more of the US. I love going to Sturgis every year and while we only get to get out and ride for 2 days before it turns to all work, it is the best two days of riding that I could ever ask for.

I think according to his posts, we already have decent adventure bikes!
That link is one of the coolest things I've seen on the internet. He should circumnavigate the globe next, like the Long Way Round folks.
