Default TVIII Owners, does your system backfire?

So, I finally did my TVIII upgrade on my 06 SG to work with the new Rineharts. Here is what I used:

Terry Components TVIII
SE Air Cleaner
True Duals RineHarts with O2 sensor
Torque Cones

The bike runs awesome with no need for a Dyno Tune. The only thing that bothers me is the backfires on decel. My 78 does the same thing, but I'd expect that from a 93" Shovel with Drag Pipes. I did not do the Stage 2 ECM Upgrade yet. I will do that when I get the Steering Lock fixed. Anyone else have any comments or similar experiences?

Thanks

If the system can be programed like a PCIII, then you can add a 15 value to the 0% range from 1500 rpm on up and it will cure your decell poping, leave below 1500 rpm alone or ideling problems can occur.

I am running the same basic set up as you. SE Air Cleaner, Bub True Duals with Fullsac recored slip ons....I have had my TVII for 6 months now and mine is fine! No coughing on decel, no backfiring, nothing but smooth throttle response!!!!

Like Bountyhunter suggested

Just a update. I did not have the ECM Stage 1 download. I finally got the update and the decel backfiring went away. I also got a new voltage regulator as part of a recall. Could have been either I guess.

Thanks

Is this a Terminal Velocity III with dual O2 sensors?
