You guys just cost me money. Never been to Sanibel Island, but Googled it when I saw this thread. Looks like a nice ride for me, so as soon as it's warm enough to spend some time on the beach I'm on my way.
Thought this forum was supposed to SAVE me money.
+1 I was not planning on any bike trips in the near future.....until now!

I have no idea where you got that idea......this site has done nothing but cost me $$$. Great ideas for rides, upgrades, etc and they all cost. But what the heck, can't take it with ya.
Is the Mucky Duck still in business? I remember that as being a great little out-of-the way, must go to eat place.
The Mucky Duck is still there, food is OK, the view at sunset is the real reason to go there. On a nice sunny day is a nice ride out to the Duck at the end of Captiva, if you have not been there in years you'll enjoy the new bridge from Ft Myers to Sanibel, about 80ft high, great view on a clear day.
As Tincup mentioned, you cannot leave Cheeburger Cheeburger hungry, plus a guy just opened a leather shop in the same plaza.
