It is so nice to have a company stand up for their product and when it fails do the right thing HOORAY !! for them. You did the right thing staying at 103 , why push the engine a little more and leave your self one less cut in the jugs then needed. You do not get that much for the 3cc. is it meyers durham on peoria or rte 66 on memorial near the broken arrow expressway? i'm very familiar with the work at rte 66 on memorial and i trust them fully. that's neat that s&s stood behind their product and admitted that there was a flaw with the design of the ring lands. good luck with your build.

 

Now with Route 66, and there were a couple of other things that we discovered from my last trip to Myers, the head gaskets didn't seem to match each other, one probably stock and one for the S & S, as well as oil pump being slightly out of alignment. I have been with the guys on Peoria for a long time but not now. Hope to get her back later this week
