if you lost oil pressure, (oil loss) I would be very concerned with scored cyl walls, You need to inspect visually, sounds like you're gonna anyhow, cuz I think that motor is coming all apart

I'd really like to know where that oil went... if it was ever put in.

You probably ruled out a major problem related to rings. Cylinder pressure is good. You should be making some serious torque with that. Still curious how those cylinder walls look. Have them checked for roundness (you'll need to have that done using torque plates). Then check piston to cylinder fit. I would look to send them to JD's Cycle or one of the other good shops in your neck of the woods.

Keep posting up what you find.

If I remember correctly, about 200 miles after build.

Yeah at this point im guessing oil was never put in. couple hundred miles easy after completion. builder said cylinder walls def has wear. gonna send them out to have them honed and pistons fitted. Larrys machining in chicago is probably gponna get my heads to rework valve-train so prob just send cylinders there too

Bethlehem, PA. Actually the more I think of it, I'm pretty sure they are primarily a tuning shop. I think they send their machine work to Hillside.

JD's has a very good reputation for tuning. Not sure where in NYC you are, but it's about 90 miles from the NYC side of the Verrazano bridge.
