if you lost oil pressure, (oil loss) I would be very concerned with scored cyl walls, You need to inspect visually, sounds like you're gonna anyhow, cuz I think that motor is coming all apart
ok just finished comp test. front cylinder read 200psi through 5 cranks. rear cylinder first and second crank read 210psi then as battery startted to die dropped to 200psi. front plug was clean, rear plug had a lilttle oil on it. So where am I at right now?
You probably ruled out a major problem related to rings. Cylinder pressure is good. You should be making some serious torque with that. Still curious how those cylinder walls look. Have them checked for roundness (you'll need to have that done using torque plates). Then check piston to cylinder fit. I would look to send them to JD's Cycle or one of the other good shops in your neck of the woods.
Yeah at this point im guessing oil was never put in. couple hundred miles easy after completion. builder said cylinder walls def has wear. gonna send them out to have them honed and pistons fitted. Larrys machining in chicago is probably gponna get my heads to rework valve-train so prob just send cylinders there too
