Looking for a new seat for my 2011 RKC. Does the Dual Touring change the riding position? At 6'3" and 250, I don't need to sit any lower. My feet plant flat on the ground with the stock seat, and my knees are just about right while riding. The stock seat fits me fine, it's just too soft.
I have the Corbin dual tour on my 06 Roadglide. It will sit you down and back slightly. I'm 6'1" and it works for me, try to find someone that has it on there bike and sit on it.
you may want to call corbin. they have a lot of experience building seats and should be able to answer your questions on their seat. i wish i had information to share.
I have the Corbin dual touring on my 2010 RG custom. I'm only 5'5" 170 lbs. It feels the same as far as height goes and distance back. I am selling it though because wifey has back problems and can't ride for long distances. If you're interested pm me. I love the seat, but I'm gonna go with the gambler instead.
I have one on my 07 Ultra, at 6 feet tall it feels right. Moved me back, little down, and it is heated and the best seat I have owned. I had my stock seat customized, still didn't work, and had a saddlemen, which I didn't like.
Both me and the wife have Corbins, and will have no other. She had a Mustang seat and loves her Corbin.
I can't comment on the duel tour but I Have the Solo Classic, Touring Passanger Pillion and the Drivers Back Rest. For the passanger I either have the HD backrest or Tour Pack.
I love my solo, the wife hasn't spent enough time on the passanger seat to make up her mind but I'm not changing so she better get use to it.
