anyone post a phot of the bumpers installed 54395-10.

Maybe I can mock up with split hose?

I have similar damage from FLHX seat on my Ultra.

ground down contact areas, on the bottom of the seat pan, but still have scuffs on the sides.

I took my bike in because I ended up with a smal dent around the bolt that secures the seat. I was told by the dealer, HD cust service and a manager at HD cust service that they would install the bumper kit but they would not repair/replace the fender becuase the damage is not visible with the seat on the bike. I asked about the fact that the damage is visible with a solo seat and I was told tough $h1t.

This is the last new HD I will ever buy.

Not only did mine scratch the side covers and rear fender, but I'm pretty sure I have scratches on the corners of the lids of the bags too. Now, I did put the sundowner for the road king w/ leather bags on it, (Classic?), got it used and dirt cheap, and I think there are like little flaps on the sides of that seat that may be to blame. Love Love Love the seat, and the scratches aren't noticeable when the seat is on the bike. Sucks though.

I really don't have a issue with mine. I get a black leather stain under the seat and where it meets the tank, a little rubbing compound on a rag and its goon in a min. Can't believe it's messin up bag lids. Maybe someones (__}__) is pushin the seat out words and making it rub, but I wouldn't see where thats the MoCo fault.

I think it might be when I open/close the bags actually. I just put up a pic of my bike in my profile, the seat has little flaps that have a pattern like the leather covered bags on some of the road kings. Not the mocos fault in my case for sure on that, cause tecnically I'm using a seat not intended for my bike. Hell, the stock seat on the 05 FLHT put scratches on my tank. As I said, you don't see it with the seat on. If I were to run a solo seat, I'd have to do something about the rear fender, but I probably won't.

Mine was reported to the Moco and now waiting for an email from the main office. This was right before the holidays, and I know they shut down for the holidays so after the 4th or so I will inquire again.
