06 SG, got the HD touring seat with slot for driver backrest, 4in.X6in. patch of clearcoat gone.

Sounds to me if you guys would just tuck a little bit of your SKIRTS under the seat before mounting you might not have these issues........just sayin'...

I hot-glued felt to the underside of mine. Problem solved!

I have a 09 Road King I read this earlier went out and took off my reach seat. Rubbed paint off top of frame in front and starting to rust,rubbed paint off the top of side panels top of fender is scratched and dented bottom of seat is ripping in spots. Off to see the service manager tomorrow for acouple of things: speedo fogs up to the point you can't read it: bang at start-up: starter hangs up(3x) rattle in the primary:vibration at low rpm's:Road lights keep coming loose: I love my bike but this having to build a case file for every little thing is starting to get thin and the little things are starting to add up. Seems I anyway have to fight for anything I want done. I thought that is why I bought new? Silly me Thanks for the heads up
