sgdiesel I have a question. Can you tell me how far the auto pilot stuck out when you plugged it into the 12 volt outlet? I am interested in using this on my road glide and the outlet is down low near the fuel tank. I can only find these on line and i can't get much info on size. I even tried the griffin
support line and they are moving and not available over the phone. Thanks in advance for any info.
I used it in my Ultra in the cig lighter connection and at full left luck there was a decent gap so it didn't hit the tank. I did post on that a while back. It is a great device
These are the instructions I followed and they were spot on. Only difference is that I left a longer flying lead to 3.5mm male that plugged in to the Griffin AutoPilot. I am a bit sceptical about having too many connectors in that line, sound certainly degrades through each connector.
Safer to use these instructions as you do not need to cut the trace, which if you do not due correctly will result in you spending money to have your radio repaired. Cutting to long or to deep and you will have issues.
