I have a 2012 SG...I have this cam, VH pipes, K&N aircleaner...Pulls ahead of my brother's wideglide and has a very nice USEABLE power band...I have no complaints.
I just put these cams in my 2007. I am in desperate need of a PCIII map for it though.
Here's what I have:
2007 Softail - Night Train
96ci- Stock heads and pistons
Stock ECM SE254 Cams
Python Throwbacks
Ness - Big Sucker CAI
O2 Sensors - Eliminated
Rev-Xtend Enabled
I called Power Commander and talked to a tech. He informed me that I would just have to download a map from their website and adjust the numbers as I went along. They were essentially no help whatsoever.
Hopefully I'm not the only person with this setup. Thanks in advance for the help, gentlemen.

Your best bet is to get the closest map from their site until you can get it tuned on the Dyno. Tuning on the dyno from someone who really knows what their doing will get all you can get. A great tuner will squeeze every bit of power out of it and have the bike running perfect.
Why do people tell you not to buy certain products for your bike and when asked why they dont answer?
I couldn't be happier with my Supertrapp Stouts and PCV. Everyone has V&H and Reinhart, I like the Reinharts though one of my Friends has them on his bike But I think the Stouts sound better.
What I like about the power commanders is most Tuners know the software and if it fails I can still get home.
FWIW, I didn't but my 2011 limited for the warranty, and if I though for a moment that Harley Davidson is not a reliable bike, I would have bought a victory Instead.
Heres a slightly off topic question about the 254E...... How does it sound at idle and WOT?
My Father and I are running the exact same exhaust setup on our street glides (Mine is a 2012 103 his is a 2011 CVO 110) the only difference is I have stock cams and his comes with the SE255 cams stock.
The biggest difference is SOUND, I can start my bike first and once he starts his i don't even know mine is running! The loping at idle is insane and the second you crack the throttle the bark just about takes the air out of your lungs!
I've been leaning more toward the 254E only because i do like to bring my bike right up to the 6k zone quite often where as my father shifts at 4k or under. But does the 254E have the same sound quality as the 255?
I've seen posts from people complaining after installing their 255's they dislike how loud the exhaust tone got, however I've yet to read that about the 254E, I personally LOVE the sound of the 255 but want the performance characteristics more so of the 254E
