i'm guessing that your 2000 rk is fuel injected? ride it for a while with the 2 into 1's and you might get used to it. i know i always liked the twice pipes till i got a 2 into 1, now i'm sold on them. if the bike runs well now, then you've got plenty of time to figure out what you want to do. there's a lot of information available in here, likely several other 2000 big twin owners. it's a nice looking road king you have there.
I had a DFO on my bike. All it does is add fuel. It does ok and keeps the bike from running lean, but it is not very adjustable. It has four adjustments for adding fuel in different rpm ranges. You can find all the info on how to adjust online. I don't remember the website, but just search revtech dfo and you will be able to find it. You can probably search here and find alot of info on it also.
Best bet is to change to another fuel manager if you want to spend a little money. I'm running a PCIII now and the difference is like night and day.
