I know this comes up every year, but this winter is killing me! More snow then every here in the Mid-Atlantic, snow sand/salt still on the concrete carpet. Even a little more chill in the air then normal down south.
The cold is not a factor for me with heated gear, it's just all the sand/salt and more snow possible this week.
Had to vent, I'm just itching to to get the ole girl out and stretch her legs a little bit. It's been almost two weeks for me and I'm haten it!
When is winter going to end? When spring arrives. Not trying to be a smart ***. New Years Eve was my last ride. I got a few miles in after work. We have been colder in middle TN this winter. It is snowing as I type. Forcast is for more snow the first of next week. Come on spring.

I haven't been on my bike since October. Not complaining, just a fact of life. I just wish I had insulated and put HVAC in my garage so I could at least work on the scoot. I got parts all over the place that need to go one it before I take it out in the spring. I have a kerosene heater but with the cold it will cause condensation to form in the engine, trans, and primary cases and contaminate the fluids so that ain't gonna work.
Guess I'll start knockin' out the indoor house mods and keep the wife happy so she doesn't bitch when I leave for Colorado and then Sturgis in August.
Mid-March here in Richmond ... you should have taken it out last Saturday. Yeah, it was covered in salt but I was able to wash it on Monday ... when it was 36 ... brrrr. Hey leaf blower does do the trick to get the water off before it freezes. I rode it to work on Tuesday ... was 23 when I left the house, but salt was gone from road after Sundays hard rain. We got another coat of snow right now. Big snow they say coming on Tuesday.
