soda/beer can.
I did 7000 miles, 3 weeks with a flattened Mountain Dew can i found at my first stop of the trip.
Good to carry with you so you have it if you have to pull over side of the road...get way over on the shoulder and onto the soft stuff.
Keep mine in my left hand rear crash bar soft bag
at home in the garage I use hockey pucks, multiple bikes ( 5) in the garage, so the puck makes them stand up straighter and take up less room.
cost: 0.00

I keep a kickstand pad in my fairing lower glove box. Even use it when on soft blacktop.....keeps me from looking for a soda can or piece of wood!

Now that there is a ingenious idea. Who said HD owners are stoopid?
I cut a 4"x5" piece of 1/8 stainless plate. I bent one end up at about a 45degree angle and sanded all of the edges. I have given some of these away to friends and they all love them. I use mine a lot. Works great!
