i installed a set from harley on my 2011 road glide. it is not that easy. faring, fuel tank and fues box all have to be removed to do the wiring install. i have done two bikes, my last bike wash an 08 street glide. took me about 3-4 hrs to do it without messing up anything. exracer3

The HD Directions could be published better ...very true.
I am going to put the power through the inside of the handle bars. A previous old post said they put them on a '11 SG easily. Doesn't seem easy to me. You have to remove the TBW to get them onto it. Don't you?
I just installed heat demons on my 11 sg and it was a breeze. Of course its the third time I have done a Harley. Kit is really awesome and the elements really get hot. Plus u can use any grip u choose.
Didn't you have to remove the TBW to get them on it?
I just installed Harley heated grips on my 2012 Street Glide. It took me 45 minutes. Really easy. Throttle side is already wired. Remember really easy!
