Muffler helper-i screwed up
Took Pro Pipe muffler off bike to get to baffle-took off end cap, and the baffle was frozen on -so used wd-40 to loosen everything up. I tried to bang it out with a broom handle and ended up bending the **** out of the baffle-got it loose but won't come out-to bent up-so now I'm thinking of buying a new 2into1 slip on. I have a Vance and Hines 2and1 set up now. Any suggestions? And what muffler will fit ? Or maybe I can still fix this one. Help please.

I already called them but said they do not have a replaceable muffler-my set up has been discontinued. Sounds like B/S to me. I'm hoping it can still be fixed-Hector at Vance and Hines said that the latest 2into1 won't even work with my head pipes.

Well after destroying the broom handle I went with a pipe-finally got it loose but can't get it out. Any suggestions? How did it turn out for you? Did you get it out? Any help will be appreciated.

Tried to get the baffle out of an Rush slipon I had on my past Ultra. Took muffler off and was doing the steel pipe.....until the weld broke on the crossbar inside the baffle. end of that baffle change. From now on, I'm pulling out the baffle every 400 miles, knocking off the carbon and putting back it. Carbon will lock those suckers in place

Just got baffle out of Pro Pipe had to grind off taps holding baffle inside pipe-baffle slipped right out. Who ever said Pro Pipe baffles are interchangeable? Yes they are with about 4hrs. labor of banging and grinding. Waiting for new baffle to come in. PITA.
