My question is will HD cover this as the bike is totally stock? Even being that they are running lean with the cat, it shouldn't be to the point of the pipes turning color. Has anyone addressed this with their dealer and what was the outcome? I would think they would do something with the ECM and replace the muffler? Any advice before I head to the dealer would be helpful.
I also have the primary making a huge "CLUNK" upon start up. I have read here where some have had theirs replaced with the S.E. unit and they paid the difference in the cost of the part (S.E. vs stock).
I have a 2010 stock Ultra with 7,000 miles, and the right muffler has a very small amount of amber shading just aft of the clamp that connects the muffler to the pipe. The muffler itself has no heat damage. Yet.

Just curious since I've only put 875 on my bike and had it for two weekends.

I noticed the front right cone was yellowing badly. I'm not concerned for warranty since I'm waiting for my Stage II and dyno tune at 1K, but I just find it odd that it really changed so quickly. I guess It's running rich from the factory??

Hopefully I won't have this issue anymore with tune and pipes.

Like this?

It's all about the heat build up from the cat in the head pipe. I removed the cat, added a piar of Xied's and now I'm replacing the mufflers.

Default Yellowing of muffler

Maybe I read things wrong. Bone stock but yet is read or at least I thought I did, muffler changed out and a couple of other things. This seems to indicate it is not stock. I have a 2010 limited and 30000 miles on it. No yellowing, no blue, no purple or any type of problem like this. My bike is a California bike and the only thing I have done beside regular PM is to replace the tires at 21000 miles
