Default What does this mean ....

Stage 3 Street Elite 103 " Kit $2164*

  • Custom forged pistons made for T-Man Performance by Wisco
  • Head Gaskets and Base O-Rings
  • Bored cylinders to 103 " (Customer supplied cylinders).
  • Your choice of cam (not pictured)

Note: Engine must have a 4 3/8" stoke to achieve 103" What does that mean .......

They're referring to the stroke of the crankshaft, all HD TC engines of 96,103, 110 &113 have a 4 3/8 stroke crankshaft, their bore varies from 3.75, 3.875, 4.00, & 4.060 respectively.

That kinda expensive for a 103. You could do a lot more for that kind of money

It means that if you don't have a stroker crank you'd be a 95"

Tom's stage 3 heads are 1295, and I'm pretty sure wiseco makes his pistons. Wiseco pistons aren't cheap (probably 400-450), throw in a set of cams, gaskets, along with the cost to bore your cylinders, and it can add up pretty fast.
