Mine is enabled all the time, comes on often in the summer.

I can turn my 08 on and off as much as I please. No dealer flash here. From what I understand it is built into the ECM on the 08 and above bikes.

I keep mine enabled but it has never activated. I've got a stage 1 and run synthetic however, I didn't go to Sturgis last year either.

the early 2008 models came with it disabled and dealer had to program ecm for it to work. then you can turn it on and off when you want to.
