If you ride mostly solo, then I can personally recommend BadX. He does seat mods and he has hooked me up on 2 different bikes. I am glad I tryed this before purchasing an expensive seat. My latest was my StreetGlide and he did a kick ___ job !

I have the Reach Seat, as well as the Sun Downer. They are both much different than the stock seat in seating position as well as apperance. The Reach Seat puts you 1" or so closer to bars, and 1" or so closer to the ground. The passenger pillion is wider, and thicker than all the above. The drivers seat with or, without backrest is comfortable opposed to the others. Without the drivers backrest I feel like I'm leaning back a little to much, but is very comfortable with drivers backrest. It also gives good lower back support. The bad news is that it does not look near as sporty as the stock seat, or the Sun Downer. Speaking of the Sun Downer, it has a beep bucket seat, looks better than the other two, and rides well. If you are a short person it may be uncomfortable for you. The stock seat looks pretty good, but is NOT my pick for longer rides in comparison to the other two. My #1 pick for an average size person is the Sun Downer (good all around). #1 pick for a shorter person is the Reach Seat, but you won't look as cool. The stock seat comes in last, but still looks cool. It is also ok to go around the corner for a loaf of bread, or beer. Hope this helps.

I am using the stock FLHX seat that came on my bike, and I am quite happy with it... this bike is the most comfortable bike I've ever had.

there is a guy here that puts gel packs in the seat, and it looks exactly the same only way more comfortable, so im told. Anyone out there have a gel pack installed? Its about half the price of a new seat.
I've heard some guys that added gel packs say that if you live in a hot climate the gel packs get unbelievably hot when parked in the sun any length of time.
