To arm it, you press and hold the button down for a couple of seconds till the turn signals flash.

Default setting up your own code

Get a owners manuel, If the previous owner put in his personal code for when your out and the fob gets lost and you need to disarm manualy you will haave to wipe out his code and put in your own. you use the turnsignals to set and dissarm if you get caught with the thing armed and no fob. kind of a pain but follow the book and it can be done. the mileage window in the speedo will show you the numbers as you set it.

In the manual will be a couple of cards that you can write your security code on. Put one in your pocket. That way you will not have to try and remember the code.

Thank's for all the great words of wisdom. Seems there may be more to this bike then I had anticipated. I picked up a manual, now to read it.

Good to hear you got the manual. Lots of god information in there. I still read mine from time to time to remember how all the functions on the radio work. Let us know if you get your issue all sorted out.
