Ok I am still learning how to post pics, here are some installation pics and some pics of the bike raised and slammed. I did remove the battery box so I could mount the comp,(I liked the way Roady did the valve on his bike).I mounted the switch on the right side of the bike ,the hole did not need enlarged and I won't be doing much adj on the fly so it was not a issue with me. It did take me a lot longer taking the battery box out but a very clean install, hope this helps some one. I do enjoy this system. Safe riding.
Nice job!!! I wanted to use the hole on the right for the swith but my switch would not fit. The hole was the right size but there was some metal behind the hole and the back of switch would not clear. Did you have fun removing the battery tray as well ? Once I got that part figured out the rest was a breeze. Enjoy!!!
Nice job, cool to see the different layouts possible on the install. I prefer the comp under the left side cover, switch on the left, cause it's just real easy to get at & operate. How's the RIDE?
OK, I started my install last night. I have an 04 RG with cruise so I had to mount under the battery tray. I like to think of myself as fairly mechanical but that battery tray just about did me in. I got it out but I am pretty sure I didn't do it right....trust me, I didn't do it right. So, what is the trick?? Please describe the removal.

Slides out on the right side....remove all the electronics on that side....hold your tongue just right and pull
I did mine a bit different.I put the compressor in the r/h saddle bag mounted on the side at the angle of the bag with the nose down against the bottom on a soft pad on the inside wall Used a 2-prong plug on the power and a quick disconnect on the air line to make it simple to remove the saddle bag.Bolted the dump valve to the backrest mount.Compressor doesn't take up that much room.Made a bracket for the switch and pointed it out and up about 45 degrees. Will post pic's later........... Nice Clean install, I'm Waiting on the same for My 04 RK Custom.
Will have to go under the battery box as I've put cruise in the left side cover.
Looks great.
