I ran into a friend yesterday at the Dealership and he has a S&S 124cui, with a very stiff clutch pull to hold the torq. He told me of a new cable that he installed that has a much improved pull. So I and wondering if any here has tried the product. And if you would give a review on it.
My Primo Rivera Clutch is a little stiffer than stock and would to get it close to stock again.
I am "up to 40%" more skeptic when vague terms are used by Guys trying to sell something.
If they really have something to prove then they should state it in plain English.
Oil?- I use the stock stuff 50 or 60 grade in the Pan, 360 in the Evos and Syn3 in the 09.
If you buy that cable, let us know what you think.
my wife started riding my 98 fxdl last year and said she wishes the clutch was a little easier to pull. did alot of reading and ended up buying three things to improve the effort for her. the hd easy clutch kit - wont/cant install the spring but the ramp will help. the new kury boss blade levers which are supposed to be designed to reduce pull. the third is these barnett cables. they are teflon coated. the new hd cable are too, but older ones are not. i am betting they are an improvement also. wont have them all installed for another month.
