My previous post rendered a lot of information regarding load equalizers. It appears I might have been smarter to go with Custom Dynamics or HD. Since I have the Badlands 4859 already I questioned the support people at Badlands. Received an email today. I was informed by many of you that I only needed one LE, even though I was doing front and rear plus my tour-pak. Badlands told me I needed on LE for each set of turn signals. The tour-pak is included with the rear LEDs. Is the front and rear turn signals considered two sets or one? Or, are the left and right side considered two sets? I may need to trash the 4859 and go with another supplier.
Dude, you need to re-visit AGAIN! 4859 is a KURYAKYN part number, and their junk does indeed require TWO LE's... BADLANDS does NOT require two LEs! I have their ILLUMINATOR and one covers the whole bike. I recommend getting the REAL badlands at www.badlandsmotorcycleproducts.com
I'm not an electronics guy, but from my research you basically got two ways to do this LED conversion. One load equalizer (resistor) for each circuit, which generally gets very hot, or an in-line all-in-one digital module that feeds the ECM a modified signal, the latter typically doesnt get hot and comes in various configurations of desired lighting options. If your signals are paired as a set, I'm going out on a limb and say left pair and right pair, not front and back. You should probably call Badlands back for your specific question, they would be better suited to give you the right answer.
So I have replaced my stock halogen blinkers(front and back) and taillight with led's. So your saying I only need the illuminator? If this is true about the illuminator(only need one LE), this one illuminator will make my blinkers(front and back) be running lights as well as my "back" led blinkers to be running lights/brake lights as well as keeping them as blinkers also. Is this confusing or do I need to describe it better?

Yes, the Illuminator is an all-in-one module that will allow you to run all LEDs. You only need one Illuminator.
