XM Snap is cool as hell ....but
I was looking for an inexpensive way to take my XM service on my bike for longer rides and came across the XM Snap. A small unit (below) that just plugs in to a 12v cig. plug. They run about $60 list, you can find them for $38-$45 new or Best Buy Outlet has them on ebay for about $10 all day long. I got one and it looks new and works fine but as someone pointed out on my other post unless it is a RG it will hit when your turn the bars full left. I am looking for any alt. locations that guys may have. I also have a 12V plug extention cord to move it to somewhere out of the way. It doesn't have to be accessable while riding since in my vehicle now I hardly change chanels. It works through a built in FM modulator or Aux. jack cabel and are included with FREE SHIPPING for peanuts.

I have the Pioneer XMP3 portable that I mounted in my saddlebag. I ran an aux wire to the front of the bike and up through one of the spare switch plugs in the fairing cap and right into the stereo. I also got power in my bag by making a male/female plug that connects to the battery trickle charger harness with a 12v socket on the other end.
