Default Tour Pak Bra/Bag

http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...bination.aspx\

Anyone have the above set-up?

If so, how does the bra attach to the tour pak lid, especially in the front where the backrest pad is....

That's an interesting idea, but that bra is going to beat the hell out of your paint. I'd suggest just getting a rack.

It attaches by poking holes in the material to run the backrest bolts thru. The rest attaches with velcro straps. I've got the Saddleman which the bra is the same and after having it on all year paint still looks good. I've had to use the bag that attaches to it a few times as well and the added storage is nice when the wife is with me.

I have had the Mustang covers on my saddlebags for about a year now and have not had any paint issues. Keep the surfaces waxed, remove once in awhile to clean and it's a non-issue.

Plus the bra is a lot lighter then the rack, no holes have to be drilled and it can be removed when not carrying the bag.

I ordered the combo today, went with the chopped size boot case. Only 2" shorter then the king bag but about $100 cheaper. Whole thing was $114.00 shipped. If anyone is interested, order the bra and boot case separately, it's cheaper that way.

Bought the King Bootcase and Bra setup from T-Bags last fall before heading to Fayetteville. I found a sweet deal online after searching for several weeks. The Bra that T-Bags sells already has the holes for the backrest mounts. You have to apply some VERY sticky backed velcro loop tape on the inside of the tourpak lid. Each piece is already cut to fit its corresponding hook side on the bra. Remove the four nuts that hold your backrest on, slip the front of the bra over the backrest studs, and bolt them back on loosely. Pull all of the velcro around the lid and attach to the loop you installed under the lid.....one side at a time. That **** is tight, so take your time. Once everything is lined up good, tighten your backrest nuts, and you're good to go. I took mine off after the rally, and only intend to use it for longer trips, but had no issues with the paint after having both the bootcase a large tent, and some various other things strapped to the top of the bra for a week straight. It's a very well made piece.

Thanks for the info....The way they describe it is it removes fast. I guess as fast as you can remove 4 nuts!!!! For the once or twice a year I'll use it, it should not be a problem.

A guy had a thread not long ago about that set-up (fireman54 on 6-2010 I can't transfer link?)and he was very happy with it!!! He had the smaller bag but he said it was very sturdy and well made!! If i recall he warmed the TP cover up with a hair dryer so it would fit nicer before he strapped it down.Good luck and keep us posted!!!!.......o~`o..................

Sorry to chime in late. Been really busy this past week.

The bra and bootcase setup still works great. During a trip, I keep the bra on. It doesn't look bad at all.

Here is the link to my post about it. Hope this helps.
