Well i finally decided to break the seal and do a 107 kit
question is..
any tips or tricks i can do on the heads, besides port/polish,
how bout on the rocker boxes oil ports?
Thanks
I'd get the heads done by a reputable shop who can help you match pistons compression ratio, and cams so it will all work together for max performance. You need to tell him your riding style. Do you ride two up a lot or are you looking to drag race? Depending on how radical a build you are going to, forged rocker supports and roller rockers might be included. Read the forum and you'll find shops like Hillside, Headquarters, Dave Mackie Engineering, and many more that can help you get what you need. If you just mix and match parts your results may not be so satisfactory.
Let me rephrase the question
I am doing the fuelmoto 107 build, already have the slip on jackpots,pc V with auto tune, woods tw 6-6 cams stage 1 open air cleaner,
Any oil passages i can open up in the rocker box for better drainage, ect..
I'm kinda new to this Harley Motor stuff. But didn't I read somewhere were they were havin problems with the B motor heat and determined that the oil was draining to fast from the head and was not picking up enough heat to carry off so they made those holes smaller for a reason?
