Well it happened.Monday got into a small accident no one hurt but was told by HD that bike will be down approx 8-12 wks. Cutting it real close for Leesburg.Estimate was close to 7k. I think the main delay is the front fender due to the special paint scheme. Good think her insurance is covering 100%.Oh, and i never dropped it.
Lady was making left in between cars that were stuck in traffic to go into a shopping plaza. The cars gave her a gap to go thru but she didnt see me. She stuck her nose out and i tried to maneuver but ended up hitting her front bumper.Engine gaurds took the blunt but the chain reaction took the rest. Towed to the dealer, afterwards told the frame has to be replaced among other things as well as the front fender(which was actually damaged by the engine gaurd).

You are lucky. A street right by my house a guy died last summer in the same situation
First, really glad to hear your ok and still able to make the trip to leesburg.
Second, maybe you could get some kind of temp set up if all your waiting on is paint scheme? I was thinking solid black to match the paint on your lower bags and tank would look pretty sharp as a temp set up. Just my 2 cents.
