Hey guys sorry about the same old question but, i just got an '11 street glide and trying to get some opinions on slip-ons. I have an 08 street glide with a thunderheader on it and i was thinking of doing something a little different on this one. I really want a low aggressive throaty sounding exhaust i just cant decide. I have been listening to some sound clips on youtube and still cant decide. I want it to be loud i got a screamin eagle heavy breather and a pc v im just so picky about the sound. Love the thunderheader sound just want something lower i heard some bassanis on you tube and really liked the sound but youtube im sure is deceiving....Thanks
check out the new Kerker Stout on the www.supertrapp.com site they have a sound byte and even with the cat it sounds good. Thunderheader slip ons sound beefy even with the cats.

I have the thunderheader slip ons on my 11 and it sure does sound deep with the cats still in.
hOW MUCH BETTER DO THE SLIPONS SOUND THAN THE THUNDERHEADER.....PLUS I HAD BIKE STARTED YESTERDAY AND ON MY 08 WITH STACK HEADPIPES YOU KNOW ONLY THE RIGHT SIDE PIPE HAD ANY EXHAUST COMING OUT....WITH THE 11 WITH THE 2-1-2 LOOKS LIKE BOTH SIDES FLOWING EQUAL....
I went with V&H power duals headers and high output slip-ons on my 2011 SG with 103. The sound is deep and throaty. Not loud until you open it up. Love it.
