I installed HD's LED headlight on my RK today, very easy plug 'n' play job.
One question though. Two of the three headlight adjustment screws match perfectly with the holes in the headlight ring trim, but the right one is out of alignment by about an inch, as this pic shows. Can anyone else with this headlight installed tell me if yours is also like this, or did I do something wrong? It seems like it can only go together one way....

Just wondering...did you try rotating the outer ring to see if another position would line up better?
I did rotate the outer trim ring just to check but nothing worked better. There is really only one correct way to position it because the screw hole is at the bottom and the slot is on the top.
Mine didn't line up with holes across from each other like the stock one. I had to put a couple of screws closer together than I thought I should have to, but it's in there securely and I've had no problems.
Inner headlight mount in the wrong place ? I had to rotate mine an inch or so if I remember correctly to get it to line up. Seems to me there are 2 sets of holes about an inch apart ?

Will double check but I think I have that right as the screw hole on the bottom and slot on the top are centered perfectly.

Yeah I thought about that after I wrote it. It just seems to me that I had the same issue with mine, but can't remember what it was exactly. my bike is not here to see for sure. I might go to the shop today If I do I'll see what I can come up with.
Getting older sucks and CRS really sucks...

Went through this myself remember it not lining up and kept rearranging it until it lined up perfectly but don't remember exactly what the problem was .. Just happy got it back together .. Hell to get old ..

Sorry, I wasn't very clear on which ring...That is what I would call the trim ring. Try rotating the ring that holds the headlight (with the 3 screw holes)to the ring that has the adjusters on it . If I recall correctly, the holes will finally line up. I'm assuming that your application is similar to the one for the Ultra.

They are all the same part #'s. I checked that right off to see if maybe he had the wrong inner ring. Took me awhile to get it right.
