I have a 2007 FLHTCU that has no modifications and runs very hot. Iv'e been told the HD has a ECM download that would richen the fuel mixture a causing the system to run smoother and cooler.
Recomendations have been:
1. spend the $200.00 on a stage 1 download then $180.00 for stage 1 intake.
2. spend the money on $460.00 and 2 hrs install and dyno and $180.00 for stage1 intake
or
3. Purchase the Fuelmoto Vision and air intake upgrade that would cost about $320.00
I have a 2007 FLHTC that also ran very hot. I bought a stage 1 from Fuel Moto at the beginning of last season. Jamie helped me alot. You will be very pleased at the better response very little pinging and the much cooler running of your bike.

The HD download makes no significant changes and mostly just alters some ignition-advance settings. Also, the AC shouldn't cost $180.
2. spend the money on $460.00 and 2 hrs install and dyno and $180.00 for stage1 intake
I assume this option is SEST with two hours on the dyno, but that is not enough time for a thorough tune.

Now you're on the right track. I assume you mean the FM tuner and AC, as the PowerVision is around $500 without the AC. This is the best way to go from among those you've listed, and IMO the best bang-for-the-buck option available. OTOH I would consider spending a few more $$ and buy the PCV, however, as it is a more current design than the PCIII-based FM tuner, has more features, and you can add Auto-Tune later if you want. The Fuel Moto choice is excellent because you can buy a tuner with a good map installed for much less than other tuners that will require a dyno-tune to be set-up optimally.
07 RKC. Got tired of it riding hot. Got the fuelmoto AC, Jackpots, and Fuelmoto PC, preset. Got the O2 sensors out with the FM jumpers.
Midddle of last summer got stuck in an hour of stop and go through a small town. Reached down to feel my motor. Didn't feel as good as a cold beer, but it wasn't HOT.
Talk with Jamie at Fuel Moto there are many options for you to spend all the money up front or progressively buy the key parts. I am so satisfied with my PCV and Auto Tune words cannot describe. They are always there for you to support you and get you running right with in you budget bracket. Can go wrong you will be satisfied and if you have a problem it will be resolved in no time.
